“Through my art over the past 30 years, I have endeavoured to share what brings me joy.  Whether my subjects were small insects in coloured pencil or large canvases of flowers in acrylic, these things always made me smile.

Now that I have pushed into a new process, I find that I am less constrained and able to find more meaning in what I do.  Now my work comes forth more easily because it is connected to my ideas about a subject not necessarily the image.”
